St. Petersburg Bowl
Online Media Credential System

The St. Petersburg Bowl will be played Monday, December 26 at 11 a.m. (ET) at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.

Media interested in covering this year's St. Petersburg Bowl can apply for credentials by filling out the following online credential request form. Credential requests will be considered only if they are submitted by an editor, director or producer. Please note that only requests from professional news outlets will be considered. Non-news and freelance media requests will not be approved due to licensing and copyright considerations.

Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.

Preference will be given to media who cover all the home and away games of Miami (OH) or Mississippi State, as well as Tampa Bay area media outlets which cover news and events of the St. Petersburg Bowl throughout the year. Media that cover all the home games of either of the two schools receive the next priority. If either school hasn't credentialed your outlet for multiple games during the regular season or your outlet is based in Tampa Bay and has not covered St. Petersburg Bowl events, you will not be credentialed for this Bowl game.

Having been credentialed for past St. Petersburg Bowl games or other bowl games does not automatically qualify an agency or individual for credentials. Membership in a writers or broadcasters association does not automatically qualify an agency or individual for credentials. The St. Petersburg Bowl reserves the right to revoke any credential at any time.

Requests must be submitted by Monday, December 12 and notification will be sent via e-mail no later than Tuesday, December 13.

Information on how to reserve hotel rooms in the media block will be provided at the end of this process. You must reserve your own hotel rooms.

Further instructions and a Bowl Week schedule will be e-mailed with credential approvals by Tuesday, December 13.

Football Scouts

All Football Scouts are required to purchase an $80 scout game ticket for admission to the St. Petersburg Bowl through this application process. The game ticket will be located in the reserved scout seating section. Scout tickets, along with a flip card, will be available for pick up on game day at Media Will Call.
