TicketManager adds Sports Systems 250+ brands and teams to the All Access Community CALABASAS, CALIF.
TicketManager announced today it has acquired Sports Systems, a leader in event accreditation and corporate guest management. The acquisition of Sports Systems adds 250+ corporate and team customers to TicketManager’s community of companies and teams.
“We are building the largest, most extensive, and most exclusive community in sports and live events to get tickets in the right hands and drive measurable business,” said Tony Knopp, CEO and Co-Founder of TicketManager. “We have long admired Sports Systems and are excited to add their accreditation and guest technology and customers to TicketManager.”
“TicketManager is the ideal company to join forces with, as our two firms have long shared the same purpose: creating solutions that simplify the challenges faced by rights holders and corporate partners across sports and entertainment,” added Jim Daigle, President and Founder of Sports Systems. “We are thrilled to become a part of an expansive and powerful community of sports and event professionals with shared interests and common goals.”
Sports Systems is widely recognized for providing clients with technology and services for media, staff and volunteer accreditation, guest registration, and sponsorship asset management. Notable customers include sponsors of the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup and the Super Bowl as well as CAA, the US Open (Tennis Championship), Kentucky Derby, College Football Playoff (CFP), college bowl games, ESPN Events and teams of the NFL, NBA and MLS.
Following a transition period, Sports Systems’ staff and technology will be merged into TicketManager’s operations and will adopt the TicketManager name and branding, allowing the company to offer a comprehensive suite of services across sponsorship, ticketing, guest management and event accreditation.
“The Sports Systems acquisition perfectly positions us to meet the broad spectrum of evolving needs of clients across the industry, as we anticipate the full return of fans, VIP guests and media to sports and entertainment events,” Knopp said.
